{{ :magic:forces:change.png?direct&120|}}===== Change =====
Change represents the force that drives all things to evolve, diverge from the norm, and seek new potential. Typically, combined with Vitality, Change is regarded as a benevolent and natural force that drives evolution and adaptation and most consider that life would not be as rich and diverse as it is today without the force of Change driving innovation in the world.

However, there are those who recognise the dark side of Change, which can twist and alter the world in less productive - and sometimes destructive - ways, and the chaotic nature of this force is what makes it so dangerous to channel and so readily restricted.

Incidents surrounding the Foulheart in the early 700s left many wary of Change magics - where Change magics powered by the raw powers of Szekaris ravaged the world and empowered a cult bent on reviving the fallen Infinite. While studies have been performed into its potential when manipulated with purely Core as a source, the fear of the Sorrows has made the usage of Change magic somewhat taboo.
