===== Vitality =====
Vitality - sometimes called Growth - represents the force that drives all living things to grow, live, and pursue their course in the material world. It is the force of the natural world, and is woven into the basic fabric of every creature in the Shards. Most commonly Vital magic is associated with plant life, but it applies to all life forms, such as animal life but also diseases, fungi, and that beyond common imagining.

The counterpoint to life and growth is decay and death. Many practitioners of Vital magics believe this to be a core component of magical Vitality - respecting the cycle of life and death, growth and decay, and how one feeds the other. The plantlike Vecca are strong proponents of this philosophy.

Practitioners of Vital magics utilize Core energy to influence this natural force to grow and live to accelerate or decelerate the myriad elements of this growth, granting them the ability to not only rapidly generate life, particularly plant life, but also cure diseases, accelerate healing, but also afflict enemies with diseases and sloth.
