Founded on the cornerstone of Vasselern’s own history of unification and compromise within their early clan structure, the Accord extends that spirit of cooperation to the Vassellians’ newfound allies: the Berusians and the Wrought.

The Accord was formed officially in 623 EE as an agreement between the Vasselern Monarchy and the Berusian Confederacy, as a formal agreement to trade resources and supplies to the crippled Berusian fleet, in exchange for magical knowledge and technology. The bread basket of Vasselern proved its worth tenfold, by paving the way to arcane prowess.

Roughly twenty years later, when the Wrought were discovered in the depths of the Vasselern shard, the tenets of the Accord were rewritten to accommodate not just the Wrought - but any other cultures or peoples the Vasselians might form relations with.

The Accord would go on to offer aid to the besieged Manijahu Covenant, build trade relations with the Kezve’ta, and develop a complex relationship with the aloof Vecca Conclave. Today, the Accord patrols most of the eastern extent of the Shards, providing a sense of security and stability to untold shards and their peoples.
