The Accord began as the union between the Vasselern Sovereignty, the Berusian Confederation, and the Wrought Assembly, formed on the heels of the acceptance of the Berusians into the Vasselern Shard, and the discovery and vassalship of the Wrought. The Accord was both a treaty between these unified nations, but also an agreement of shared goals and resources.

In the past century the Accord has expanded its membership to include the Sidsel of the Masreyan Covenant and the Vecca Conclave, developed trade agreements and citizenship policies for the Kezve’ta and their people, and a burgeoning, provisional relationship with the Ky’limek and their Queen.

Now, the Accord represents the single largest political body in the Shards, steadily expanding throughout the Span, and opposing the depths of the Sorrows and the dark forces emerging from its shadows.

The Accord is lead by a series of representatives of each of its member states; The Queen of Vasselern, A Representative of the Berusian Confederacy and the Wrought Assembly, the Veccan Speaker, the Kaian of the Masreyan Covenant, and one elected Chancellor from any of those nations to facilitate dialogues.
